The farming activities comprise wine grapes, wheat and livestock. The livestock division encompasses commercial mutton sheep and Hereford cattle both commercial and stud. The Hereford stud is the owner Danie van Breda’s passion and currently consists of 100 females. The stud started off with three females and over the years has grown into a stud with exciting prospects.

The breeding objective is a Hereford with a medium size frame, good milking ability, pigmentation and muscling. Males must demonstrate masculinity whereas females must retain their legendary fertility capability and be femine. With the above goals in mind sires that can reproduce and compliment these different traits are selected from the Stockman, Happy Days and Pride blood lines.
